CISCO's ACI solution in a software-defined data center will handle your network automation, from basic networking to firewalls, intrusion protection, things like that. And what this does, like any other software-defined solution, is inject intelligence around what you're doing in your network. No longer moving traffic from one server to another, but you're moving very specific traffic, so your network knows that this is a database server, that this is a voice server, and can really add software quality of service, things like that, to this traffic. |
